Wesley Mission Newcastle’s youth service Street Smart is a crisis intervention, information and referral service for young people. Street Smart aims to reach and support young people who would not normally engage with mainstream youth services.
Newly fitted vans feature a barbecue, LED television and electronic games. The vans take the Street Smart service to where young people are at, meeting them on familiar ground in a non-threatening and culturally relevant way which conveys that they are valued and accepted. Role: design, artwork.
